Revolutions pattern and kit
Every once in awhile I make a quilt just for me and I dont care whether anyone else likes it or not. Revolutions is one of those quilts. I pulled fabrics from here, there and everywhere and loved the result. The reason I called it Revolutions is that it reminded me of 45 rpm vinyl records and the coloration is one of those favored by the current Modern Quilt Movement. It is a fusible web applique project but could be appliqued using any method of applique you prefer. The quilt is throw size at 51" x 62-1/2".

Shabby Screens.  We re-worked our Sun Screens out of Moda’s fabrics and loved the look so much that published at pattern just for it.  Pattern includes all sheets for paper piecing the screen blocks. We machine appliquéd this one and scalloped two of the borders. Quilt finishes at 41” x 53”.

Banana Butterflies
was designed with beginning stitchers in mind. It features a single appliquéd basket block with a flower and vine panel at the top of the quilt. Pieced flowers with appliqué leaves are set alternately with pieced butterfly blocks. Butterfly antennae are embroidered with a back stitch. Here's the Scoop
was designed for intermediates and has the feel of an old time soda shop. Ice cream sundaes and banana splits are trimmed with laced scallops. Scallops are prepared on freezer paper and topstitched by machine. Quilt finishes at 55" x 66.   $9.49

Paper Plates
got its name from the method we used to do the appliqué. The patches are prepared with freezer paper and starch and machined appliquéd onto the backgrounds. Rick rack trims the plates and gives them the look of paper plates. This is a scrap quilt and uses about 22 fabrics in each block. Quilt finishes at 51 1/2" x 63" and retails for $9.49 $4.75

Petit Fours
is made with easy pieced four patches and has 3 appliquéd rose blocks tossed in for style. I designed the pattern so the roses could be left out and the pieced pattern continued for those who don't appliqué. You could also leave the roses off the background block and quilt a beautiful rose motif in place of the appliqué. Finishes at 69" x 79". $9.00

Sunny Disposition
is designed for intermediates and features the sun, flowers and big tree blocks around the border. It finishes at 56" x 56" and retails for $9.49 $4.75

Ellery's Smoothie
was designed for advanced beginners. The block patterns include a heart sachet trimmed in red polka dot scallops, double delight roses and a basket in the center block. Appliquéd blocks are alternated with simple pieced scrappy blocks. Sashing and borders are straightforward. The cover quilt was worked in our "Ellery" fabric collection from Marcus Brothers. Let Me Be was designed with simplicity in mind. It combines a collection of strips and embroidered poetry blocks. The embroidery is worked in red floss with simple lazy daisy, french knots and backstitches. These blocks are surrounded by strips and set with chenille flowers. We used one of Moda's Sanctuary jelly rolls. The Sanctuary collection designed by Three Sisters will be in the stores in February 2007. Finished size is 56" x 64". Country Can-tainers
This quilt features simple pieced blocks set on point between 4 appliqued "cans" of  country wildflowers. It is surrounded by a gingham check border and finished with 1-1/2" wide white cotton rick rack. Finished size is  63" x 73". Retails for 8.99 $4.50

Big Bloomers
Twelve simple pieced baskets are surrounded by "big bloomers" and long stemmed buds in opposing corners. The basket handles are appliqued and are a good place to practice your inside and outside curves. Finished size is 63" x 78". Retails for 8.99.

Between Friends
Pieced house blocks are connected by 3 blocks each of stars, pinwheels or log cabin blocks. The center block features a simple teapot with cups. All are bordered in a large polka dot print with rounded corners. Quilt works up very quickly. Finished size is 64" x 64". Retails for $8.99

Table Scraps
This is for our friends who only like a little bit of appliqué (or none if you fuse!). It is a pieced companion to Mabel's Table and looks intricate but isn't. It measures 82" square and is made exclusively from scraps. Got any scraps you want to use up?

Mabel's Table.
Mabel's Table is an appliqué quilt for beginners featuring bowls of oranges alternated with large hourglass blocks. This quilt has a 1950's kitchen feel to it. The recipe inside is for an old-fashioned fruit salad. Quilt finishes at 54 1/2" x 54 1/2".

Blue Plate Special.
Blue Plate Special is worked in an assortment of 1930's prints and solids and is fat eighth/fat quarter friendly. We show you a fusible web method for quick quilt construction. The "plates" are blanket stitched in black floss. The quilt is finished with a tiny blue and white check that resembles a tablecloth. We give you yardage requirements for 3 different sizes. I have included my husband's recipe for a cheese stuffed meatloaf in this pattern. Sizes are 56" x 73", 73" x 73" and 73" x 88".

Pampered
Pattern includes 3 different designs for 4 1/2" x 7" pin pillows worked with felted wool and accented with embroidered details. They include a perfume bottle, a box of bath powder and marabou mules. Two-fers is for those of you who like to machine piece and appliqué. It is called two-fers because the area behind the stars on the larger quilt are cut away and then appliquéd on top of the squares on the second quilt. You get two quilts from one. We worked this pattern in "manly" colors so the men or boys in your life wouldn't have to be quilt-less. Star quilt finishes at 60” x 80” and second quilt finishes at 52” x 61”.

Coffee Cake is a four block quilt designed for intermediate stitchers. Block patterns include a matching set of dishes with a coffee pot, cup and saucer, sugar bowl and creamer, pieced Dresden plates and a chocolate cake topped with whipped cream and cherries on a cake stand. The blocks are “matted” with a large oval to resemble photos. The quilt is worked in a soft palette of peach, pink, brown and cream with a touch of red and green. We are recommending Moda’s Wuthering Heights collection for this quilt. Finishes at 50” x 63”.

Paper Bag Pie
Designed for advanced beginners, this pattern features the fruits of the fall season including late berries, pears and apples. Each is appliquéd on a dark background and trimmed with a barn red scalloped ring. The fruits are collected in a black bowl and repeated in the center block. Scrappy pieced crossroads blocks alternate with the appliqué and all are surrounded by a soft blue gray sashing. Finishes at 57” x 66”.

Flower Girls is a four block quilt suitable for advanced beginners and beyond. A single block featuring a stylized flower in a vase is repeated and set with simple sashes and a single border. The cover quilt is worked entirely out of 1930’s reproduction fabrics and was designed as a companion to Cracker Snackers. We have seen it worked in bright tropical prints or sweet little pastels and both looked equally good. Finishes at 61” x 61”.

Lunch Lady Bag
Many of you have requested the pattern for a simple tote we made and had in our booth at Spring 2007 Quilt Market. We had out of town visitors and wanted a nice lunch bag to hold their lunches and a small gift. This bag is what we settled on. We also think it would be a nice bag to hold a quilt kit or any other gift. The pattern is very simple and free to you. (Note: you will need four grommets in addition to your fabrics.)
