What's New at QuiltSoup?
We welcome all the Fab Shop Hoppers
and hope you will find something you like.
We just returned from the Road to California Quilter’s Conference in southern California and it was as fabulous as it always is. Thanks for treating us so well this year.
We have a new kit for you this month and it is for the Pajama Party quilt that goes along with our new fabric line. The kit is 99.00. The fabric for the top and binding are included, as well as the pattern, which is a free download to anyone. We have also received our yardage and it sells for 10.99 per yard while supplies last just in case you want to make a pillowcase too!
We are carrying a new pattern by another designer, Lori Holt, on our site. The pattern is called Cakewalk and it makes the cutest quilt ever. We made it from some of our favorite fabrics and have a limited number of kits available for $110.00 for this 64” x 72” quilt.
For my Road to California applique students, the finishing instructions for your block may be found here.
If you happened to purchase the Pajama Party quilt kit from us at Road to California, please contact me with your receipt number via email (Barbara@quiltsoup.com). It seems I left one of the fabrics out of the kit and I want to be sure you have everything you need. l am really embarrassed to have made such a mistake. We are just not perfect as much as that might aggravate me!
We are starting a new birthday club this month. If you would like to be included, send me your name, birthdate and email address with the words Birthday Club and I will enroll you. You will receive a 15% discount on any one order during yourbirthday month. I am not excluding anything.
I am just putting the finishing touches on my next line of fabric and proof-reading the manuscript for our new book and the details of both will be announced when I get the go ahead from big bosses.
The soup this time is Chicken Tomatillo Soup with Hominy. The recipe is from Café Zupa’s Bloggers Annual Cookbook. It is a twist on tortilla soup and sounds terrific.
Until next time,
